The app's active users showed a more consistent upward trajectory, starting at approximately 41K and growing to close to 60K.
Luno Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency also demonstrated a variable pattern in downloads, kicking off with 3K and reaching a high of over 6K twice in mid-November and late December. Active weekly users for Luno showed healthy growth, starting at 9K and climbing to almost 25K by the end of Q4.
Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto began the quarter with modest download figures at 1.5K but saw a significant increase, ending December with nearly 10K downloads. The app's weekly active users started at around 30K and witnessed a steady increase, concluding the year with over 51K users.
Lastly, Blockchain.com: Crypto Wallet had its downloads start at roughly 3K, peaking at over 6K in early December, with a slight dip to around 4.6K in mid-December. The active user count for Blockchain.com started at around 30K, reaching over 42K in early December, but then saw a decline, ending the year at approximately 32K.
